CLIMATE

STORYTELLING

FREE ONLINE COURSE

Sponsored by Ethos Environmental

A recent survey by (UNESCO) the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, reported some concerning data. Climate activist Sophia Kianni summarizes it well, “The survey revealed that 27% of respondents cannot explain what climate change is, 41% can only explain the broad principles, and 2% do not know anything about it.”

The first purpose of this course is to change those figures, to provide an overview of climate change and its effects to the public, as well as help participants that climate change is not a political issue but rather a practical issue.

The second purpose of this course is to help people change the way they talk about climate change. We’ll get to the meat of it, but here’s a sneak peek: Storytelling is the most effective form of communication.
